Russian state-owned nuclear fuel company Tvel has started operating new equipment at the Siberian Chemical Combine in Seversk, central Russia, for the production of pilot fuel assemblies with uranium-plutonium Remix fuel for VVER-1000 reactor designs, a statement said.
