UK Energy Plans Sees Role For Nuclear In Replacing Fossil Fuels

30 Jan (NucNet): The UK’s energy supply emissions are projected to be 69% lower than 1990 levels by 2020 and 73% below by 2030, with fossil fuel generation displaced by renewables and “eventually nuclear”, the government says in a draft national energy and climate plan submitted to the European commission.
