Ukraine’s cabinet of ministers has confirmed that it dismissed Yuriy Nedashkovsky, president of the national nuclear generating company Energoatom, and that a new appointment will be made “on the basis of a transparent competition”.A statement on the energy ministry’s website said Mr Nedashkovsky, who took office in 2014, had been sacked for reasons including inefficient management, suspicion of embezzlement of state funds and mismanagement of procurement.
