The US Export-Import Bank (Exim) has formally expressed its interest in providing $3bn (€3bn) in financial support for new nuclear reactors at the Cernavodă site in southeast Romania, in an announcement made at the United Nations Cop27 climate conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
