US-based Green Energy Partners (GEP) has secured 641 acres (259 hectares) of land in Surry, Virginia, where it plans to create the nation’s first “fully integrated green energy centre” with 1-GW of data centres, a clean hydrogen hub and, over time, four to six small modular reactors each generating in the order of 250 MW.
