White House Asks For Additional $1.5 Billion For Reliable LEU/Haleu Supply

In a supplemental appropriations request, the White House is asking Congress to provide an additional $1.5bn (€1.47bn) to the US Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy for the acquisition of low-enriched uranium (LEU) and high assay low-enriched uranium (Haleu) for existing and future US reactors.
