Companies want to build up to 40 advanced SMRs in England, with first online in early 2030s
X-energy UK and Cavendish Nuclear have been awarded £3.34m (€3.89m, $4.23m) in funding from the UK government to further the development of their plans for a fleet of 40 advanced small modular reactors in the UK.
