X-energy To Go Public In $2 Billion ‘Blank Cheque’ Deal

US-based nuclear reactor and fuel company X-energy has agreed to merge with special-purpose acquisition company (Spac) Ares Acquisition Corporation in a deal valued at around $2bn (€1.9bn) – making it the second advanced reactor developer to go to the market this year.
