Country Committed To Nuclear Cooperation Agreement With US, Says Minister

Romania is committed to implementing the memorandum of understanding with the US on cooperation in the civilian use of nuclear energy, which was signed in September 2019, said Romanian foreign minister Bogdan Aurescu.

Mr Aurescu met US secretary of energy Dan Brouillette at the International Conference on Nuclear Security 2020 in Vienna, where they also discussed other aspects of bilateral strategic ties, a statement by the Romanian foreign ministry said.
