China plans to double the share of nuclear in its power mix by 2035 to almost 10% of generation output.
Despite a renewed focus on energy security and the classification of nuclear power as “green” under the EU’s sustainable finance taxonomy, nuclear generation is set to decline across Europe and the US in the near term – but developing countries are set to ramp up capacity, according to S&P Global Commodity Insights.
