IAEA Praises Safety At Kalinin Nuclear Station, But Calls For Improvements

The operator of Russia’s Kalinin nuclear power station has demonstrated a commitment to safety in areas such as severe accident management training and the promotion of safety culture, but improvement is needed in areas including the plant’s operating experience programme, maintenance and operation, an International Atomic Energy Agency team said.
