US-based Oklo will receive access to high-assay, low-enriched uranium (Haleu) nuclear fuel from Idaho National Laboratory (INL) for use in the development of its Aurora microreactor project, a statement by the lab said.

Haleu fuel is based on down blended uranium-235 recovered from used fuel and has an enrichment level between 5% and 20%.
