ASN has asked other operators to carry out checks
French nuclear operator EDF has found more than 200 irregularities in materials supplied by the alloys division of the mining and metallurgical company Eramet for its nuclear power plants.Regulator ASN said the Eramet subsidiary, Aubert and Duval, manufactures many metallurgical products that are used in the composition of various materials, some of which are intended for the nuclear industry.
