Nuclear energy and renewables will dominate the growth of global electricity supply over the next three years, together meeting on average more than 90% of additional demand and with nuclear growing by around 4% a year – significantly higher than the 2% of recent years, according to the International Energy Agency’s Electricity Market Report 2023.
