The Bulgarian ministry of energy has confirmed the signing on Thursday (22 December) of a 10-year contract with US-based Westinghouse Electric Company for the delivery of nuclear fuel for Unit 5 of the Kozloduy nuclear power station, calling it a “new era” for the country’s nuclear energy sector.
