Warsaw has ambitious new-build plans and is targeting commercial operation of first reactor in 2033
A site in the northern province of Pomerania near the Baltic coast has been selected as the preferred location for Poland’s first commercial nuclear power station, Polskie Elektrownie Jądr (PEJ), the company charged with managing the project, said.
